Position Description – Account Director

Job Summary

The Account Director is the senior leader with the strategic vision, industry knowledge, operational expertise, and organizational skills necessary to bring exemplary results to the Client. This position is dedicated exclusively and is solely responsible for the Client account and manages all related activities including leadership of direct staff and matrixed central support functions. The Account Director manages the client relationship, engaging Pristine Environments senior management and other functional leaders to ensure continual high‐level availability to the Client’s management team and alignment with business priorities.

This position reports directly to the SVP, Facility Management Solutions and is accountable for the total performance of the account and acting as the direct liaison for the Client.

The Account Director is a recognized leader in the Luxury Retail sector and possesses high‐level skill working in distributed asset environments. The Account Manager must work with the Clients business units as appropriate both to gain an understanding of how our service delivery can best support the strategic direction of the business, and to manage internal and external resources in the delivery of services which assist in supporting that strategic direction.


Duties and Responsibilities


Financial: The Account Director is responsible for achieving financial targets set forth by both the Client and Pristine Environments. Implementing appropriate plans and programs to meet and/or exceed the financial objectives within the account.

Growth Leadership: The Account Director is responsible to meet the changing needs of the Client across all asset classes in the portfolio. Provides data analysis, trending, and projection to recognize and take advantage of opportunities within the scope of services. Matching service level agreements to site activity levels and program needs. Establishing strategic plans and management of such including assessing alternative delivery models and understanding future customer requirements to ensure adequate growth and development.

Innovation Leadership: The Account Director is knowledgeable of FM Best Practices in the Luxury Retail marketplace and sets the strategic direction for implementation of continuous improvement plans at the store level.  Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout account.

Quality, Compliance, and Reputation: The Account Director ensures that services and programs meet or exceed all Pristine Environments, the Client, and external regulatory authority requirements. Develop and maintain a consistent operational standard consistent with the Clients brand, implementing account wide initiatives and producing a quality product in accordance with established standards. Ensure effective customer satisfaction, service and relations by implementing processes and technology to deliver quality products and services.


Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for managing account based staff all centralized account teams and vendor relationships. Leads indirect staff and matrix support team. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Pristine Environments’ policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences. Builds a diverse workforce. Creates and maintains work environment that gives team members and teams responsibility/authority to achieve goals.
